About the School

Christopher LaCava has been training in the martial arts for over 20 years. At the present time he holds a third degree black belt in Hapkido and is a direct student of Grand Master Lim, Hyun-Soo. Mr. LaCava travels to Daegu, South Korea each year to train with Grand Master Lim and the other Korean Jung Ki Masters at the Jung Ki Kwan. He is also the Connecticut representitive of the Korea Jungki Hapkido and Kuhapdo Association .

Over the years Mr. LaCava has trained in the styles of Arnis, Tai Chi Chuan, Shaolin Kempo and Kuhapdo. In the past, he was one of the few Licensed Tactical Master Instructors of the CDT method of non-deadly force here in Connecticut. Mr. LaCava is a member of The American Teachers Association of Martial Arts (ATAMA).

Mr. LaCava is a graduate from Tri-State College of Acupuncture earning his Master's of Science Degree in Acupuncture. In addition, Mr. LaCava is NCCAOM certified, a licenced Acupuncturist and president of the Connecticut Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
